חידות מטניסיון בודקות הסקה מופשטת: זיהוי הכללים המשתנים לאורך שורות ועמודות ויישומם להשלמת המשבצת החסרה. המטניסיונות הפרוגרסיביות של רייבן הפכו את הפורמט למוכר. מפני שאינו דורש מילים, השתמשו בו בקבוצות רבות ברחבי העולם [2]. בחידות הקשות צריך לגלות כמה כללים בו־זמנית ולהחזיק אותם בזיכרון [3].

מה מקור החידות?

אלה מטניסיונות Sandia, שנוצרו ב-Sandia National Laboratories. החוקרים כתבו תוכנה המשלבת סוגי כללים ממבחן רייבן לחידות חדשות. במחקרם, החידות החדשות כיסו ואף הרחיבו את טווח הקושי של המבחן המקורי [1]. זהו אותו מאגר פריטים המשמש במבחן ההסקה באפליקציית Helibrain.

בכל ניסיון נבחרות באקראי 12 חידות, ולכן אין שני ניסיונות זהים.

איך לקרוא את התוצאה?

הציון הוא מספר החידות שפתרתם. בכל ניסיון מתקבל שילוב אחר של חידות קלות וקשות, ולכן תוצאה יחידה היא תמונת מצב משוערת. אין כאן השוואה לאחרים: זה אינו מבחן IQ ולא מתקבל מספר IQ. השוו את התוצאות שלכם לאורך זמן.
