This Privacy Policy describes how and when Helibrain ("we", "our", "us") collects, uses, and shares your information when you use our services. When using any of our services, you consent to the use of your information as described in this Privacy Policy.

Privacy by Design
Helibrain protects your privacy.
When using Helibrain, you will have the following options:
1. Questionnaire (optional). You will answer questions about your well-being, mood, and lifestyle. Helibrain processes these answers to provide recommendations based on your input. Your answers are used solely to improve the app and are never shared with third parties.
2. Habit Tracking (optional). You can track habits based on recommendations provided through the app (from the questionnaire) or habits you create manually. Habit tracking data is stored to enable functionality such as progress monitoring and reminders. This data is used solely to provide the habit tracking service and is not shared with third parties.
3. Nutrition Logging (optional). You may log meals by uploading photos or entering text descriptions. Nutrition data, including meal logs, target calories, and nutrition scores, are used to provide tailored meal recommendations, upsides, downsides, and improvement tips. This data is used solely to provide and refine the nutrition feature and is not shared with third parties.

Purpose of the Service
Helibrain provides general educational insights. It is not a medical device and does not diagnose, treat, or provide medical advice. Always consult a licensed healthcare provider for health concerns.

Children
You must be 18+ (or the age of majority in your jurisdiction) to use the Service.

Collection of information
We collect information you provide when you sign up for a Helibrain account, including:
- Registration: email address, password hash (never your plain password), sign-in method (e.g., Google, Apple), basic account metadata.
- Usage Information: app actions (e.g., feature taps, screens viewed), timestamps, device logs, crash reports.
- Transaction Information: when you purchase our products via Google Play or the App Store, we collect metadata related to the transaction, such as the date of purchase, product name, and purchase confirmation details. Note that all payment data is processed securely by Google Play, and we do not store or process any payment card details.
- Device & Locale: operating system, app version, language, country/time zone (from device settings).
- Communications: if you email us, we keep your message and contact details to respond.
- Habit Data: information related to habits you track or create, including progress updates, reminders, and habit names. This data is used solely to provide and improve the habit tracking feature.
- Nutrition Data: text/labels for meals, optional photos you upload, calorie targets, nutrition scores, and dietary feedback.
- Cookies/Similar Tech: used for essential operations and analytics.
- Third-Party Services: if you sign in with Google or Apple, we receive your account email.

Subscription & Purchase Information
When you start a free trial or buy a subscription through Google Play (and/or the App Store), we receive **non-payment** purchase metadata from the store—e.g., product ID, price, currency, purchase token/receipt, trial eligibility, renewal/cancel date, and status (active/paused/canceled). We **do not** receive or store full payment card details.
We use this data to:
- unlock Premium features and restore purchases across devices,
- prevent fraud and provide support, and
- meet accounting/tax/legal obligations.

Use of information
We collect information to provide, analyze and improve our services.
We use information to provide and personalize features (questionnaire results, habit reminders, nutrition tips).
We store data until it is no longer necessary to provide our services, or until your account is deleted. We retain limited registration information related to your order history as long as your account is active or as needed to provide you services, as well as for accounting, audit and compliance purposes.
If you email us, we will keep the content of your message, your email address, and your contact information to respond to your request.
You may opt out of receiving promotional messages from Helibrain by following the instructions in those messages or by changing your notification settings by logging into your Helibrain account. If you decide to opt out, we may still send you non-promotional communications, such as technical support or administrative messages.

Sharing of information
Protecting your personal information is important to us and we neither rent nor sell your personal information to anyone. However, we provide information to service providers who support our business, such as by providing technical infrastructure services, analyzing how our products are used, providing customer service, facilitating payments or conducting surveys. The servers of such services might be hosted in the United States of America, in that case the information related to the user profile (never the one related to the user genetic data) is hosted in that country.
Your consent to this Privacy Policy followed by Your submission of such information represents Your agreement to that sharing.

Account Deletion
In compliance with GDPR and CCPA, you can request the deletion of your account and all associated personal data at any time.
To delete your account:
- Go to your Helibrain account profile and select "Delete Account".
- Alternatively, email us at helibrain.help@gmail.com with your request.
Once processed, your data will be permanently deleted, except for legally required records.

Legal Basis for Processing Personal Data (GDPR)
We process your personal data based on the following:
- Consent: You agree to the collection and processing of data when you use Helibrain.

- Legal Obligations: To comply with regulatory requirements.

- When you delete your account, we permanently delete in-app data (questionnaire, habits, nutrition). We may retain anonymized, non-identifiable aggregates for analytics.

Your Rights Under CCPA (California)
If you are a California resident, you have the right to:

- Request deletion of your data.
- Opt out of data sales (we do not sell your data).
